Town Clerk, Margaret West and Assistant Town Clerks Linda McKane and Rosemary Harner will assist you with any questions you may have that pertain to this office.
The Town Clerk's office is the hub of Town Hall. It is a very busy office where the town's active records and inactive records are kept. Our goal is to have the most efficient and effective records management system to serve the public and protect the records. The following is a list of some of the duties & responsibilities;

- Issuing Marriage Licenses
- *Issuing Certified Copies of Birth, Marriage & Death Certificates
- Sport License
- **Dog Licenses
- Trade Name Certificates
- Filing DD214
- Processing Burial & Cremation Permits
- Document Notarization
- Meeting Agendas & Minutes
- Election Administration
- Voter Registration
- Absentee Ballots
*For a certified copy of a Birth, Marriage or Death certificate you must provide identification as well as the attached form listed below. Certified copies are $20.00 each.
**Dog Licenses are due by July 1st each year. $19.00 Male/Female, $8.00 Neuter/Spayed. Proof of Rabies Vaccination and Spay/Neuter is needed. $1.00 late fee per month after July 1st. Licenses for the New Year are available June 1st. If you mail in your fee you must include all documents and fees with a self addressed stamped envelope. (2 stamps please)
