Mission and Objectives
The Mission of the Oxford
Cultural Arts Commission is to promote, develop, and encourage artistic and
cultural activities in the Town of Oxford and to
foster an appreciation for, and widespread community involvement in, the arts in
Oxford.
Volunteers Welcome
The Oxford Cultural Arts Commission currently meets on the
second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Oxford Town Hall
and is currently seeking commissioners. The Commission also welcomes volunteers
interested in working on specific activities. For further information call Mary

FREE 2008 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Perhaps the Commission’s best-known contribution to the
town is its annual outdoor summer concert series. Held at the Center School in
July and August the concerts typically feature jazz bands, folk singers, sounds
of the ‘50’s and other popular music.

The Commission also co-sponsors school performances and art
shows.
