Parking Ordinance Snow Removal

§ 71.01  OVER-NIGHT PARKING.

   (A)   Any constable, police officer or road foreperson or his or her assistant is hereby authorized to have removed and towed away by commercial towing service, any car or other vehicle parked within the limits of any highway in a manner as to obstruct snow removal between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., from  the December 1 to the ensuing March 31.

   (B)   Cars so towed away for illegal parking shall be stored in a safe place and shall only be restored to the owner or operator of the vehicle upon payment of the cost of towing and storage fees.

   (C)   There shall be no liability attached to the person having any vehicle towed away, pursuant to the terms of this chapter.
